Sheet Flood Floodplain Mapping
Sheet Flood FAQ In September 2007, the District completed mapping of sheet flood hazards within the unincorporated portions of Pima County using State Standards methodology. The new mapping impacts large portions of the county and residents within these areas are encouraged to read this FAQ.
Letters of Map Revision (LOMR)
Letter of Map Revision FAQ (PDF format) A letter of Map Revision (LOMR) is an official revision to the FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) and reflect changes to the 1% chance floodplains or Special Flood Hazard Areas (SFHAs). This FAQ addresses basic questions about what LOMRs do, how they affect flood insurance, and about obtaining a LOMR for your propoerty.
